Hi Sophie There'll be 9, I hope. I popped in to Waterstones on my holiday. Jamie, the bookseller in the Children's dept, is a Cat fan and great fun. JuliaKatriona wrote on 20 August 2007:
Hi Katriona You sound at the point where you can start writing out in full so why not give it a go? I'm devising a new page for Dragonfly - it'll be up soon. JuliaAmy (again!) wrote on 20 August 2007:
Hi Amy Ah well. That would be telling. What I can say is that Cat is probably going to get increasingly confused about who she likes and who likes her - just like real life for a teenager, hey? JuliaAmy wrote on 20 August 2007:
Hi Amy I'd love it but Hollywood has not yet come calling... Probably not enough explosions/aliens/meteors/elves etc. JuliaNathan wrote on 19 August 2007:
Hi Nathan I haven't planned one but neither have I ruled it out as you probably realize ;) JuliaNatalie wrote on 19 August 2007:
Hi Natalie I hope I'm not responsible for too many sleepless nights....! JuliaRosie wrote on 19 August 2007:
Hi Rosie Answers among your questions. Julialayah wrote on 19 August 2007:
Hi Layah (and Layah's sister) Glad you liked it. I felt really excited writing the end so I hope it lived up to expectations. JuliaMilliex wrote on 19 August 2007:
Hi Millie You'll have to lobby the Waterstones to get them to invite me! The quartet is 4 books. JuliaMilliex wrote on 19 August 2007:
Hi Millie You mustn't give too much away on-line you know - someone might pinch the idea! Anyway, I think it sounds a great opener and promise of a kind of treasure hunt. I hope they get in to lots of trouble. As for the long lines, that's something the printer does - I just use in my manuscripts the normal dash. If you separate it from the word and press return it should get longer than when in the middle of a word. Try it and see what I mean. JuliaMilliex wrote on 19 August 2007:
Hi Millie Good luck with Charms! JuliaArnet wrote on 18 August 2007:
Hi Arnet Yes that was me on my way to the Edinburgh literary festival. I was checking the American edition of Gorgon - Connie and Col eat chips not crisps and put things in trash cans not bins... You should've said hello - I was very bored. Juliaspanna wrote on 18 August 2007:
Hi Spanna Are your ideas for plots or characters? Sometimes if a really strong character comes to mind it drives a book forward over the problem patches. Have a think about your main character for while and see if you are interested enough to stick with them for a whole book. Juliameggie wrote on 18 August 2007:
Hi Meggie Not exactly... but he's very real to me. JuliaStephanie wrote on 18 August 2007:
Hi Stephanie Glad to hear you've had a good holiday. Only occasionally. Mostly I'm lost in the world so don't think about anything else. Juliacallie rose wrote on 17 August 2007:
Hi Callie Not at the moment but I'd love to come to Wales soon (I've been to Ireland, Scotland and England so it's the big gap!! Juliaholli wrote on 17 August 2007:
Hi Holli Not yet - it would be fun, wouldn't it! Juliameggie wrote on 17 August 2007:
Hi Meggie Yes, indeed - Sheridan and many of the theatre people (including Mrs Reid - a name I found in the theatre accounts). Many of the political/royal people mentioned. The headmaster of Westminister school. Chief McGillivray in the latest. Are you interested in a particular person? Look up Olaudah Equiano for example - he's great! Julialozzer wrote on 17 August 2007:
Hi Laurence ;) All to be decided - it's being developed by Egmont but I'll let you know as soon as I know! At the moment I'm working on a couple of fun things for Cat to do with you all on her pages. Juliaash wrote on 17 August 2007:
Hi Ash I have my advance copy so any day now (officially September though) JuliaAdd your message
