Wow, these are amazing books! I was reading them on the train back home from school and I nearly missed my stop because I was so into them! I especially like all the accents and dialect because it makes them different from most other books! And the front cover...wow!

Dear Julia, I have read and thoroughly enjoyed the novels of G.P. Taylor and came across Diamond of Drury Lane quite by accident. I have been in an around the amateur stage for most of my 55 years and was captivated by the antics of Cat and Co. and of their tales set in and around such an auspicious theatre. I am off to buy the sequel now and look forward in anticipation to a fantastic read. Well done, and good luck for the future.

Me again, with more praise. :D A sequel that's worthy of every piece of praise it deserves; it's actually impossible to pick out one specific moment that I enjoyed above the rest as the entire book had me sat on the sofa for hours, eyes glued to the page. I had spent my pocket money for the week when I saw 'Cat Among The Pigeons' and begged and begged for my mother to buy it for me. When she said that she would I couldn't help but leap for joy. I love your work and I cannot wait for 'Den Of Thieves' Hi Alessandra I'm glad you are enjoying Cat's adventures. Den will be out in February. Julia

I am reallly enjoying the book and I think you could not have made it better. Icertainly hope that you do not stop writing about Cat Royal's adventures as I would be very dissapointed if you did. Dear Harriet Cat won't let me stop just yet so you need not worry! Julia

Dear Julia, When I read and finished the first Cat Royal book, I was amazed and shocked to find such a wondrous book offered to the completley average 12 year-old girl that I am. Every day when I walked home from school, my nose was burried in your book. But when I was reading the sequal, I simply could not wait until school finished. I was told off twice in maths for sneaking a peak in your fabulous book. And then in science someone blabbed that I was reading under the desk. I hope you relise how much I enjoyed your books. I will not rest until the third in the series is out and in my outstretched hands. Until then i have no more comments but the praise which I have already rained down upon you. Thank you for improving the standered of children's literature. Dear Sophia I hope I don't get you in trouble again! You only have to wait until February for Den of Thieves. Julia

Dear Miss Golding, I thought that these were two of the best books in georgian fiction ever. I especially loved the critics pages at the beginning. I hope that you will write more Cat novels in the future and am looking forward to Den of thieves. I enjoy the way that you include characters that really existed like Sheridan and Kemble. Long may you continue.
