I couldn't get my eyes out of it (Mind you I always have my head stuck in a book!) Great book Julia!

I could not predict the ending at all! I was shocked but I think that it was best for all the characters really. Is Enno an African name? Who is your favourite character in the book - who did you enjoy writing about the most? Thanks Jess x (It is the name that fitted him and felt right. My favourite character? Really hard to choose as I love all my main characters. Hero the bear is another favourite. Julia

Dear Julia, Just wondering: you said that Freydis was one of the few remaining female Viking names, but I read somewhere ( Wikipedia, I think, which on second thought isn't very reliable)that females could not be Vikings in the technical sense, that the term only applied to men.And from that I figured that there were no female Viking names. Is this true? --Zoe (I don't think that is right. There are plenty of non-fiction books about Vikings that mention women. J)

I won't tell you what happens because if I did I would be a spoil sport! Anyway I definatly recomend this book - I learnt quite a bit about vikings and the way all the seprate strands of the story join together in the end is really good. Is Wolf Cry a sequel , or is it a lone novel? (It's a lone wolf ;) . Will be published in the US next year. Julia)

About when is Wolf Cry coming out in Canada? Sorry, being a Canadian fan, I just was wondering, because I CANNOT wait!!!! (Canada takes the UK edition so it should be just a question of shipping. If you know a good bookseller, it would be worth asking them to get hold of a copy for you. Julia)
