i think this book was really entertaining and i would love to hear more and more stories of cat at dury lane, I thought this book kept you reading for hours and hours. I thought it was the best book i have ever read and the best thing about it was i was awarded it by my teacher for being good at all subjects in my class. i think its the best book i have ever read and i cant wait to read the other books with cat in them.

I just want to say how wonderfully written your Cat stories are: they are informitive, humerous and exciting all at the same time. When i read them i instantly fell through the pages into her world and didnt want to come back! I've already read the two so far and i'm already reading them again beacause i cant wait for the next ones to be published! And even though everyone says they want them turned into films i dont think i would watch them becasue they are perfect the way i imagine them in my head and i wouldnt want to critise them if it was different! Thank you for writting such amazing books and i hope you carry on!!!

I really think your book was amazing! I didn't realise it was goimg to be that good. It was really intresting, because you found out a lot about what went on in the theatres, the streets and rich households in those times. I loved the charecter of Cat, she was really funny. I've just started to read 'Cat among the pigeons' and is good already. I'm reccomening 'The diamond of Drury Lane' to a friend, and let her borrow the book, because I know all kinds of people will like this book! Many thanks to Julia Golding, to getting me into different kinds of books! It's really nice to have something different, if were talking about the plot, the setting or the way it's written. You inspire me a lot, and if I was to become an author, I would look at your books to inspire me! Thanks!

Your book was fabby and I can't wait until your next one called 'The Den of Thieves'. I am writing two books at the moment; one 'The Magic Doll's House', the other 'Rachel Stanley's Diary B4 Uncoverd'. I started Rachel Stanley's diary today. Are you doing a book signing near Sutton Coldfield when you launch your new book? Hi Rosie No plans at the moment but keep an eye on my events page. I'm just beginning to fill up my diary for 2007. i aspire to be a writer and one day i should like to have some, if any, of my work published. I have absolutely no idea how to start though, how do i? also, when does your third installation of Cat's life come out? an amazing read and much more informative than any history lesson i've ever had in my life! carry on writing and you'll be a real star amongst readers of all ages! Hi Liberty Cat 3 - Den of Thieves - comes out in February. As for ideas for getting started as a writer, the first thing you need is a draft of a story/play/poem. Make sure you enjoy the writing as that is the real reward, not the publication (that's the icing on the cake, not the cake itself). Once you've got your story, try it out on a few trusted friends - an audience really helps. Next steps after that are to try and get an agent or publisher. Tips on this can be found in publications like The Artist and Writers Yearbook. Good luck. Julia

My GOSH! This was a fantastic book - you write wonderfully well and I found myself running away into Cat's world.... it should be made into a film or tv series! And Cat and Pedro are fabby characters!!! I am exactly like Cat it's freaky! I was in the school library oneday and I picked it up out of curiousity because I love to perform and the theatre. I mean, well, WOW! Drury Lane! Yey! And i carried on reading in astonishment as Cat turned out to be more and more like me! Red hair, everything. Great read. One of my fave books ever!!!
