I have to say that this book was thoroughly enjoyed and coveted by both my girls, 15 and 12! They actually would sneak into each others rooms in the night to whisk it away to a new hiding place. I am reading it now. Well done! Finally an exciting theme wrapped up in appropraite apparel. By the way, my daughter is running around in a kanga.

LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Darcie does remind me of cat and Kassim, a bit like Pedro, frank and syd combined!! I was really sad when Darcie had to leave Kassim, they were rather sweet. Will she ever see him again???? Another AMAZING book, and i expect the next will be too. (no pressure!) Katie

This was your best book so far! I loved Cat Royal and compainions, but this is absolutely fab! I have to admit, I was a bit reluctant to read at first, because spies arent really my thing. But it really was an amazing read. I loved the kassim/darcie thing and i really hope we will see more of him in the next book I cant wait till may!

If u read this I think u and AH should work togethwer on a book involving both Darcie Lock And ALex Rider (An intriguing thought - I'm laughing already. I think they'd argue a lot and Darcie would be annoyed by Alex's reliance on gadgets. But what a lovely idea. I imagine AH would run screaming in the other direction... Julia)

The Ringmaster- an exellent new addition to the "reluctant spy " genre, which both C. Higson and A. Horowitz have used in their writings. Fresh and new, from a different angle + the main character is a girl. My favourite character is Kassim, no doubt we will see him in Empty Quarter when it is realesed.

Molly wrote on 07 December 2007:

this is a wonderful book. How the less obious people are villans makes the book full of action.

The book Ringmaster is amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it so much. When I got into the middle,I just don't want to eat, do homework and all the other things. This book immediately reminds me of the Alex Rider series.
