Finished this book on the way to a school trip to London...felt a bit sick but it was most worth it! I have yet to read the next Darcy Lock novel, Waterstones near me takes AGES to get the new books! P.s Is it true you live in Oxford? I do too - I love it. (Yep, and I often write early in the morning in the cafe at Waterstones. Julia)

Ahhhhh! Darcie is such a cool fighter! How many books in this series are you going to do? Will it stay as a sequel? (Hi, I've not decided on a limit to Darcie - no like with Cat. I saw number 2, Empty Quarter, in Waterstones today, and there will be more, probably one a year. Julia)

What is Darcie's middle name? I'm just wondering! Anwyay, this book was addictive, I kept wanting more and more. I hate Hugo! You should have a 'Hate Hugo' page and a 'Go Kassim' page. Bye, this site is superb! The best one in history! Miss Inkweaver (Hmm - I've not given her one, have I... Thinking, thinking... J)

I think the cover is really cool. At first glance it seems symetrical, but some bits dont match up. Suits the book. Have to look twice! Milli xox

Hi, I love Ringmaster, It is well better than my other favourite book "lord of the rings, and harry potter". My favouirte character has to be STINGO, let's just say Ihave a thing for army men. Do you think people will make a movie of this book. I hope so, If they are I would Keanu Reeves to play Stingo. I just can't wait for Empty Quarter to come out. I have read ringmaster about 15 times, I just hope Empty Quarter is going to be even better. I love your book. your biggest fan (honestlly) Rebecca or "Bec"

Sofia wrote on 29 May 2008:

Pearl is supposed to show that life doesn't have a happy ending for everyone... Julia)
