I read Black Heart of Jamaica two years ago but I just bought it on Amamzon! I've also got Cat's Cradle but I was wondering when the next book comes out. I've been searching the web but I can't find anything. Is there a release date for the next book yet? I can't wait!!!
HI. Did you look at the FAQs on this site?

Dear Julia, Thank goodness I came to your website! I live in the U.S.A. and thought the series ended after Cat O' Nine Tails! I intend to get Black Heart of Jamaica and Cat's Cradle as soon as possible. You're such an amazing writer, I'm in fifth grade and my teacher says that I'm a great writer and posses the writing skills of an eighth grader, but I'm so impatient that I can never finish a story! Any tips on how to stay patient and complete my stories? Sincerely, Cassidy P.S. Does Cat end up with Syd? Actually, don't answer that, please, but I hope she does. Syd totally loves her and they'd be the perfect match! Just tell me this, in the end, is everyone safe, happy, okay, alive, etc.?
Hi Cassidy Thanks for being in touch. Did you have a look at 'Tips for writers'? The one about not circling the beginning might help you with your problem; also using a few basic planning tools so you are laying the railroad ahead of the train so to speak is a good idea. I don't think you really want answers. Cat's life is ongoing in terms of the series so there are loose ends to some of these points.

I love the cat royal series and I'm happy I found your website because I thought that they ended with middle passage. Do you know when cats cradle and black heart of Jamaica will be out on the kindle?
Are you in the US? If so there's no US publisher for these so I'm not sure they'll be out there. If in the UK they are out for £3.95 at the moment.

Hi Cat Do you miss Kanawha? Sara
Yes, but I can't keep hold of everyone in my life.

Dear Julia, as I'm sure you've already been told a thousand times, you are an amazing writer. Congrats for inspiring all those thousands of readers. The written word is a powerful thing as my English teacher says. This series is the first group of books that I've actually been really excited to write a response to literature and book report about:)
Thanks, Hero.

Hi Julia! I love Cat Royal. Do you know where I can buy "Black Heart of Jamaica" and "Cat's Cradle" in the United States? I have already read the other four and want to finish the series. Thanks! Aundrya
You'll have to get the UK edition I'm afraid - available online. The Book Depository doesn't charge for overseas shipping on some books so you could start there.

how can you get the black heart of jamaica in the usa?
Online. Try the Book Depository as it doesn't charge for overseas shipping - at least if I order here in the UK it doesn't.

I love the Cat Royal series and just finished the 3rd one! My sister read them when she was my age and recently suggested them to me! I read each one in just two days! One thing that bothers me though, is why did you change book covers? I LOVED the old ones, and i don't think the new ones capture what the books are about at all. Plus, the model doesn't even have Cat's red hair. Even my sister agreed. Otherwise these books are so amazing; they never get boring. I would love to see a movie based off of them!
See FAQs. Covers are decided by publishers not authors.

I've been looking EVERYWHERE for the Black Heart of Jamaica and I can't find it ANYWHERE!!!!!! I don't have a kindle so I'm looking for the book but no one has it yet. I REALLY do not want to wait another month or two to get it. ANYWAYYYY...I think Cat should hook up with Lord Francis or Thief-what's-his-face from France. Love your books!
You can buy it online easily - just follow the links in my shop.

when do you think the middle passage will be out in persian?
I have no official deals for Persian editions - these are pirated if they exist which is a shame on those who do this.

hello! i just want to say that these books are excellent! i enjoyed them a lot and admire the research put into them. i do plan on writing some of my own but lack motivation and inspirition - any tips..its a murder mystery and i have the perfect crime but.. who did it? even i don't know! and i am writing the book! goodness. a little help please? - emily,13
I've not done a murder mystery but I'd say that you have to plot backwards if you understand what I mean. Lay the bread crumb trail without it being too obvious.
