In school they call me a freak for staying up till 2 in the morning reading 5 different books at a time, but I think books were the best invention in the history of the world.I love reading your books and I hope you appreciate this message because people are always quick to complain but never seem to have the time to complement.I would love a little bit more romance between Cat and Syd and some between Darcie and a mystery boy.My favourite book was the Den of thieves If my memory is working probably that's when Billy Boil kisses Cat my reaction to that part was marvellous. From the Bookworm Olivia 12

Hi Olivia You are by no means alone being a bookworm! Cat gets kissed in Cat O' Nine Tails. Julia

Billy's kinda annoying, popping up EVERYWHERE. You get across the Atlantic to the other side of the world and you think, ok, at least Billy won't bother me here, and the POP there's a Billy in front of you. HE IS SUPER ANNOYING DO NOT GET INTO ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM WHATSOEVER. HE IS SO IRRITATING. you'd be much better off not ever knowing Billy, but too late,i suppose....

Alice wrote on 09 February 2012:

Yey I have now read all of your books, and my favourite series is probebly Cat Royal although I really love dragonfly and glass swallow, and companions, and darcie lock, and all the rest of them too! I am currently reading through the cat royals yet again and they never get boring. I even lent my copy of the diamond of drury lane to my grandmother to read and she seemed to really enjoy it! Just goes to show that cat can be enjoyed by all ages I suppose! At the minute I am on Black Heart of Jamaica. I really hope that you are able to write some more soon particularly cat and darcie lock as deadlock was such a cliff hanger I can't wait to find out what will happen as a result of the ending! I would also love to see some more dragonfly and the glass swallow type books as they where really different to anything that I had read before and anything that I have found which is remotely similar to them has been no where near as good, I particually liked the cultures that you invented especially the cultures of the blue crescent islands where they believed that the women should be in charge! I also think that it's great that you take the time to talk to your fans and I regularly visit your website and I particually like cats QandA. Anyway thanks for all the great books and sorry for such a long message! Emily

Thanks for taking time to write, Emily. Julia
