I would choose the Lady of the Lake. She seems to be mysterious and you don't really know which way she will flow. She gave Arthur Excalibur, kept him from donning the destructive cloak sent by Morgan, and punished Ettarde for his mistreatment of Pelleas though, so I think she tends to use her powers for justice. She also appears to be very clever because she was able to gain knowledge from Merlin and then seal him in a tree.

I would love to be guinevere as she sounds like a strong independent women. Who loves artur even though she was a slave to the king. And now she's queen it just shows you that even though you start at the bottome you can work your self up :)

I would want to be Guinevere. I love that she was once a slave to King Arthur and then a Queen. I think it shows that even the worst of situations can turn good.

I would have liked to have been Merlin because he was always so loyal to Arthur. He was his adviser and friend and protected him with his life. Plus he had magic and i love magic. He was also very smart and clever and he also was fair and right in serving the king.

If I could be a knight then I would be Sir Brunor le Noir because he is courageous and true to his word he doesn't give up and doesn't change himself no matter how much he's teased ( wearing his father's jacket.) a true knight.

If I could any knight, I would want to be Sir Percival. Even though he doesn't say much about what he is thinking or feeling, you always know he will have your back in dangerous situations. He has big arms which means he is very strong. Also, he is gorgeous.

The knight I would have been is Sir Pelleas. He was of a low birth and one of the bravest Knights of the Round Table. He sought the love of the high-born maiden Archade and was persistent in trying to get her to fall for him and although Gawain betrayed him by sleeping with Archade, he never murdered him.

My name is Rebecca, I'm thirteen and love to read! If I were a knight I would like to be Sir Lancelot, he was one of Arthurs most trusted knight and was there for many battles and vitories. I would also like to be him, because of the scandelous love affair, which was most exciting and juicy, with Arthurs wife. He played a large part in the search for the Holy Grail, Lancelot has always been one of my favourite knights.

I would love to be the fisher king(if he counts) as he is a mysterious but powerful and important character and without him no - one would have found the holy grail. Or, I would love to be Uther pendragon (Arthur's dad) with a fist of steel and a heart of stone.

She's not really a knight but I always wanted to be Morgan as she has power equal to if not more than merlin's and being evil is always far more fun than being good, and if not then I would love to be gwaine as he is the only knight with a sense of humour!
Hannah wrote on 30 March 2013:
I would choose to be Sir Galahad; an illegitimate child immediately prophesied for greatness, he undertakes the quest for the Holy Grail with courage and purity, and succeeds. Although he appears to have some form of misguided humour, as, once he has the Grail, he chooses to die, taking away their only chance of keeping the Holy Grail on Earth!

I would want to be Sir Gareth, brother of Gawaine, and Gaheris, nephew to Arthur, half-brother to Mordred (even though I'm a girl ha!). I wish I were as patient and forgiving as he is to Linnet.
Sam Bland wrote on 23 March 2013:
I'd like to be one of two people from the round table either Merlin because of his power and might, or Arthur because of all of the glory. But I wouldn't mind if they were combined because of all the above reasons.

If I could be any of the charactors from your book I would be Sir Lancelot. He is noble, strong and has dignity. He fought and protected the kingdom and the ladies.

Hello. My name's Shamima and I personally would like to say that my favourite character would be the Lady Morgana. The reason for this is because she's a beautiful and caring character despite the evil and fury inside her later in the story.

If I had to choose someone to be I would be Guinevere because I feel like even after her and Arthur fell in love she stayed who she really was. She is also very down to earth and loyal which I think are great qualities in a person.
Rosie Hastings wrote on 04 March 2013:
I would like to be Gwynevere, because her story was so sad as she use to be a slave of king Arthur's. The king Arther asked her to marry him and it changed her life around, she fell in love with him and she forgot about her old life and moved on. She loved her new life and this is why I would like to be her.
Rachel wrote on 28 February 2013:
I think that if I was any character from Arthurian legend I would be Morgana. I have always LOVED the evil characters a lot more than the good ones (I always think they are a lot more intelligent) I absolutely adore all of her different schemes that she devises to do away with Arthur!!
Elizabeth Frost wrote on 26 February 2013:
I'm not sure if she counts, but I would be Lady Isolade (or Isault) - she fell in love with Sir Tristan, but was forced to marry his uncle, King Mark. Tristan married another, but still loved Isolade. I think their story, though tragic, is poignant and beautiful.
She counts! I'll include the larger Arthurian circle to allow women in.
