I love all your books but this is the best (in the cat royal series) I love the way i can see through the eyes of cat and can can think of her as a real person so much that when my perents took me to covent garden i would not stop pestering them untill they took me to the Therater Royal .I would like to know if the theater royal and covent garden come back into the story and if cat goes back to france at all? Hi Millie I've not written/decided that yet but probably. Julia

I LOVE the Cat Royal series. They're so creative.....in fact they've inspired me to write my own.Could you possibly give me some tips??I can't WAIT till Cat-O'Nine-Tales comes out.I love the way you distinguish the characters.Could they're maybe be a film coming. It would be great if they were made into a film. Yours sincerely Chloe xxx Hi Chloe If you look back through my contact the author page you'll find tips I've given others in the past. They boil down to: keep a note book, plough on to end of a first draft without worrying if you get it word perfect and write because you enjoy it, not to be published (that's the icing on the cake, not the cake itself). Julia

Again Cat proves she can think on her feet. Another history (the french revolution) combined with adventure. With the Cat books I'm getting to read brilliant stories and learning about history too. I want more.

I absolutely adore your books! They were the books that actually got me obsessed with historical fiction and the 18th Century. The books are so exciting that I frequently let out squeals in the living room while reading them. The characters are seriously so real and well-rounded that whenever I hear a date in history class i think "Well that was about 10 years befor Cat was born" They are amazing! Keep writing them pretty please! xoxox
