Hi Julia! One question, do you know if there are any books titled Ca Ira? Because the book I'm writing is during the Revolution and the main character likes singing etc. and I wanted my book to have a title that no-one else had. Thanks! Milli xox (Why not search on Amazon? Julia)

I was listenng to 'Breakaway' from Kelly Carkson and I though it was a great theme song for Cat in this book. Listen to it and you'll know what I mean.

Hi I absolutely love your books! I just wanted to know if after Black heart of Jamaica your going to be writing some more books about Cat and also if some of the old characters are going to turn up like JF and Jonny. Please say they do . also I would love to see some more of Syd and of course evil Billy. What would your tips be for an aspiring writer??????????? (Hi Hatty take a look at the FAQs on the contact page. J)

I think Cat really likes Johnny very strongly and it is really sweet that Johnny and Lizzie don't want any bridesmaids but Cat. I also think that J-F loves Cat because Cat can't help but turn her hea when he is in the room and she finds J-F is already looking at her! Please put J-F in another book. This was my favouite book of all! Rating: 5/5 Comment: Capital!

i just read den of thieves yesterday, it was truly amazing. I definatly think J-F and Cat should have a fling but then further on cat should fall in love with Syd. Your books are another world I can escape to and imagine im somewhere else. Keep writting me and my friend love your books tremendously!!!(might of spelt that word wrong - im a very bad speller)

It was ages since I posted here, so here I go (again!) I re-read it and found a few typos (or was it in Cat Among the Pigeons? Can't remeber!) anyway, the point is even with some mistakes (no doubt on the part of the publisher-Julia would never get it wrong), Cat is still just as good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep on writing, girl! Milli xox

I have to thank you SSOOOOOOO much for this book. Also, can you come to my school, St. Margaret's Primary in Durham, for a talk about your books???????? PLEASE! I think J.F. is quite sweet, too. I agree with Milly(a.k.a. Cat) (Hi, I do do school visits, but they are organized via your teachers/my publishers/or a bookshop... J)

Nicola wrote on 01 February 2008:

This was my second favourite Cat book, with my favourite being "Pigeons"!! I thought Cat and J-F would get together, but I really want Cat and Frank to be together, or Cat and Pedro would be good, because they could totally understand each other!! As Khurso said, the critics are really funny, but whenever I show my friends, they don't get them- weird or what??
