i am reading den of thieves its such a good book i am half way through! a couple of questions : 1.why is it called den of thieves?2.where did you get the idea from? its so exciting. (The quotation is from the bible and fits the Paris Cat visits. The idea came from reading Mark Thomas' history book which takes inverted look at the revolution - from the side of the people rather than the posh people. J)

Hi Ms. Golding, I just read this book, it is very good. I loved it!!!! I really liked the plot, Cat is in some pretty tough situations. I have a few questions though. 1.About how many years older then Cat is Frank? 2. I JF the same age as Cat? 3. Is it true that the people broke into Louis' palace after he ran off? 4. Was the woman that Cat and Frank met during their search for the Opera House, before they saw the Notre Dame by moonlight, Marie Antoinette? That's all I wanted to know. Great book!!! Can't wait to read Cat O' Nine Tails, it's out in the U.S right? Thanks!!! -Caleigh (1. see Diamond of Drury Lane for relative ages. 2. Yes 3. Yes. 4. Yes - also historically possible Glad you enjoyed it! Julia)

Hey Julia! I just adore the cat royal books! The first one I finished in about 4 hours because I couldn't put it down! I'm about to start the third book, and I'm sure it will be great. Anyways, how many books are you gonna write in the Cat Royal series? Personally, I hope you never have to stop because I love them so much! (There are at least 6 and as many as 9 depending on how the series is supported by sales! J)

I ordered your book & another the other day, & when it came in I told my father "don't worry, I'll have enough books to last me at least 'till Fri." then that night, I started & finished Den of Theives that night. I just couldn't put it down! will miss Golding keep writing books about you? I just can't get enough! :D (Er hem - they are MY books! Dr Golding is merely my representative. And I will keep on writing as long as I have adventures to tell. Cat)

HI! I love your books! They are soo fun to read! I want to be a writer when I grow up. I'm writing a short story right now. Thank you for writinr tese books. I was wondering about the girl in all the covers for the books, is there a reason her eys are brown and not green? Thank you again for all your hard work! Natalya (That often happens with book covers - image being not quite accurate - because I was not available for the artist and they got in a model to take my place. Cat)

Hi. I love the cat royal series and still have yet to read a few of you series becuase the libary dosen't have them. I read all three book in a matter of 7 and a half hours. Most people are like "Ok thats weird. Don't you do anything else?" but i'm homeschooled and once i get my work done, which takes me about 5 hours i can read all i want. I was hopeing in the next books in sted of writing and this and that and another thing that you could use comas. I finished the 3rd book in the cat royal series and want to pre-order the fourth book. Do you have any advice for a person who reads books about 6-9 hours a day and is writing a book. How do you motavate your self? Best wishes and hope to soon read the next companions book, -Ehvia batoon (Hi Ehvia, Best tip is to have fun with the plotting - that's the motor of the book. You sound like the kind of person who could manage a series of your own. So get out your pencil and plot! Julia)

Hello, Julia! (or do you prefer Ms. Golding?...) I just ran into your books at the library recently, and I love them! I didn't know until I found this site that there were more books to be read! When I finished Cat among the Pigeons, I was so disappointed that there were no more of your books at the library. :) Now I can't WAIT to read the others! (Great - that's what the site hopes to do! Julia)
