Cat Royal Novella: You've given it a title

Dear Cat Royalists,

As many of you know, I'm planning to write a novella about Cat's adventures on the way back from Jamaica, to be available online this summer as you have all  had to wait so long for Cat's Cradle. 

Thanks for all your suggestions below (now closed) and your votes in the polls.  The winner, by a whisker, was The Middle Passage - which suits the theme of the triangular trade and the idea of a book passage etc etc so thank you.  Technically Cat is on the last leg (middle passage was the slave journey from Africa to the New World) but I am going to rise to the challenge, never you fear!  I already have my plot and some words down on the page so watch this space...

The next poll to go up will be a guest question slot for the autumn.

Hello. I think "Home is where Cat is" sounds nice. Or "Kitty-Cat". Maybe "Furball" although that one is rather...unusual. good luck :)

Maybe something like Catfish or Home sweet home or if in the story billy gets angry you could call it The Boil Bursts but that sounds a bit wierd! Alice xx

I've got two really good ones, "the prince and the moon" I think is a good one coz billy thinks he's like a prince and cat kind of shines like the moon, and "strong Kitten: the long road back to the home land" Thanks! Jenny 16

Another possible title is Curiosity Killed the Cat, but that one might be a little too morbid. (It would also remind Cat that curiosity is not always such a good thing!)

I had a couple last ideas for the book. "Lying Low on the Briny Deep." Lying low is a synonym for a game of cat and mouse and I figured that would work because that is the sort of relationship between Cat and Billy. Possibly "Out of the Blue," as well (blue meaning the sea in this instance). That's all I have. Thank you!

First of all I'd like to thank you for writing the Cat Royal books-I'm addicted. If you stopped at Black Heart of Jamaica the world would've stopped turning and the gods would've struck down on us with storms and chaos. Here are my suggestions(sorry if they're rubbish unfit for a beggar to read): Shepard's Kitten,Shepardess, Homeward Bound, Cat's Voyage, High Seas, or Upstream(because of her indian heritage, and she is going home). Thanks again for Cat Royal, I couldn't live with out her. P.S. cant wait to read the novella! Been waiting forever! It'll be great!
