These questions are for all the books: i was wondering, do you base your characters on real people? If so, who? And what about the places? Do you have to visit them to describe them or do you just make it up. Also, are you friends with any other authors? If so, how did you meet? SORRY about all the questions, i'm just curious! (Not too closely but sometimes they provide a seed of an idea. I like to write about places I've visited but that doesn't mean I've been to all the places in the books - nothing wrong with using your imagination! Hello thank you for writing this book k that sounds kind of wierd but i mean it it was an amazing book to read there were typos though!!!! read your own book go through it h a ha please try checking!!! Thank you so much P.s when's the next book coming out??? (Hi Gabriella, If you notice typos let me know as I can pass it on to the copy editor who does the page setting and it can be sorted for reprints. I imagine most typos are my fault, but this is not always the case as things happen between me seeing the page proofs and the final book - the weirdest being in Ship between the world where plank became plant for not apparent reason (it was corrected for reprints). I'm a little confused- is Darcie English or American? I'm English & so was Stingo when he was being Darcie's uncle but in the book Mum is spelt like Mom or is that just because ur American? (sorry if this is v. confusing- i'm confusing me too) (Mom is American, Dad British - she's transatlantic. J)
