Things R not how the press reported it. Don't know Y I'm here but 1 thing's certain: my so-called cruise is headed into stormy waters.
Darcie's stuck aboard a cruise ship for problem rich kids. It sounds exotic but it’s more like boot camp. Things are about to get interesting though... Darcie becomes embroiled in a kidnapping plot that will take her from Naples, via Cyprus, to Egypt and on a terrifying journey through the desert empty quarter.

OMG Julia your books are sooooo amazing i love them all but the Darcie books are just heaven. I got a library of books in my room (not joking around 450-500) and i've already got 7 of your books and this is only since christmas! I will check regulary for DEADLOCK as it is my next book on the list.

I have read both the darcie lock books out so far as well as the Cat Royal series!Darcie Lock is awesome although i dont think she is as good as Cat royal. Still awesome though.

when is deadlock coming out?? it feels like ive been waiting ages for cats cradel and deadlock and the glass swallo to come out! but the glass swallow is coming out soon so at least ill have one good book to read! i will try not to read it too fast or it will be over too soon. i hate it when good books end.

Love, love, loved Empty Quarter! It was incredible. Ordinarily I prefer books with slightly older lead characters, but with the Darcie books her age doesn't bother me in the least. I can't wait to read Deadlock. About how old is Stingo by the way? I was assuming maybe 25, but I didn't have any real reason for thinking that. (Late 20s. J)
