Cat o'nine tails is a great book and its title is really clever. When I took it in to school everone thought it was about a Cat with nine lives. Somepeople thought it was about a Cat with nine tails! I really enjoyed the book and is now going to read Secret of the sirens, Ringmaster and Black heart of Jamacia.

I think Cat and Frank should date each other. From the beginning of the series, i always thought that they seemed more like a couple other thatn Cat and Syd and Cat and Johnny. But i also like her and J-F. I would like to see him in another book. But Frank is my favorite character and i was dissappointed when he didnt appear as often as he did in other books in Black Heart of Jamaica. But anyway, i would LOVE to see more of Frank and J-F. It would be so COOL.

good luck to you on solving the frank, syd, j-f, billy, charlie and pedro thing its way too complicated for me to choose.i i love the adventures most though and really admire how everything ties in so neatly at the end. They are really unpredictable so that makes them great.I was wondering when the sixth edition will be released.the books are great and i think u should write 18 instead of 9 as she is twice as good as a normal cat so requires twice as many lives.(refering to a comment that you were only writing 9 becuase cats have 9 lives)

This book is CAPITAL! So much adventure was packed into it! I love it when Billy kisses Cat and Frank and Mr. Dixon walk in on them! I am glad that they didn't put 'Pansy' on Cat's tattoo but a black cat instead! Sasakwa sounds really cute and mischeivous!

Hi I Just Wanted To Say I Find Your Books Amazing And I Am Looking Everywhere For The Next Installment 'Black Heart Of Jamaica' And For Some Reason Can't Find It Anywhere. But When I Do I Know I Am Going To Enjoy It. I Love Writing And I Wondered If You Have Any Types On Me Trying To Get A Story Published? I Would Be Grateful. (Hi Persephone - great name by the way! For tips on publishing best to look at the Writer and Artist's Year book - there should be a copy in your local library. For young people, competitions are a good idea - ask your librarian or school teacher. For Blackheart - you can always buy online or get a bookshop to order it in for you! Julia)

I'm sorry, I know it's annoying to talk about Cats future but she should definately be with Syd!!! It determines it in this book, which is my favourite so far!!!
Lucy wrote on 24 March 2008:
All your books are amazing but this is the best one by far !!! I think this book determines that you should be with Syd. He loves you and he's so nice, and you often subtly say he's handsome, which probably means that he's drop dead gorgeous! Although your encounter with Billy Shepherd at the beginning completley changes your view of him. It really shows you that he doesn't hate you, but loves you. Wow, you must be very pretty, if all these people love you ! Lucy
