This book is really good and touches lightly, but well, on the serious hardships of the era.

Will Cat ever see Tecumseh and Kanawha again? Also, will J-F make an appearance in one of the future cat books? (Hmm, maybe. J)

Camryn-- I agree with you about not putting my hopes up for one particular guy for Cat, I havn't read Cat'O'Nine tails yet either! I CAN'T WAIT!!! my library doesn't have it yet though. I don't think Frank is right for Cat though I agree with Ella... I think he is too posh and Sarah I don't say that because he's rich. I think it MIGHT be JF but probably not.

Thank you, thank you so much for putting up the other picture for Cat O` Nine Tails! Now I get to see what the American version looks like!

Sarah wrote on 20 October 2009:

Ms. Golding, Have you considered putting up like the first chapter of every book or something like that on the website??? I know some authors that do that, and it gives a better idea on what the book is about. I just can't decide wheather to read a book or not from its summary, I usually just go through the first chapter and decide. I think it would really help. -Sarah (Hi, Sometimes the publishers do that. I'll give it some thought. Julia)

Ella--I agree with u on Cat and Syd. I thought I was the only one who thought they should be together!!!!

Sarah wrote on 14 October 2009:

Dear Ella, Are you serious!?!?!?!?! Frank is SOOOOOOOOOO NOT posh!!!!! He's the ONLY one perfect for Cat!!!! Just because he's rich doesn't mean they shouldn't be together, and besides, Frank's one of those people who would be loyal to someone no matter what class they are. On top of that, Frank's own FATHER is married to a person from the theatre, so why not Frank??? Besides, its oblivious Frank likes her, and I bet Cat does too, though she just won't admit it. :) -Sarah

Ella wrote on 12 October 2009:

Hi! I LOVE your books! I think Syd and Cat are ment to be together! Frank's to posh! At school we have to choose are fave book and do a presentation about it! I have chosen this one! How old is Cat? Please reply! Ella xxx (Hi Ella - see FAQs on Ask Page. J)

Alice--I am exactly the same way. It's so hard to finish a story, isn't it!!??

alice wrote on 11 October 2009:

hi, cat o'nine tails is my fave book in the series. i was always a little bit interested in indians and stuff. you have really cool ideas, i want to be an author but i sometimes get stuck half way through my stories coz i ran out of ideas for this one and want to start a new one. i have over five stories and only two are anywhere near even half way done!!

RachelRox wrote on 11 October 2009:

Cat and Frank Would be okay So would Syd but I really don't see her getting married anyway then she would have to stay home and cook and clean and that wouldn't make a very good book (has anyone considered Billy{joking by the way})

Amy wrote on 11 October 2009:

Is This Book out in New Zealand? (Should be - no separate release date for NZ. J)

shayla wrote on 08 October 2009:

is this book out in Canada??? P.S. love cat royal!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Yes. J)

Este wrote on 08 October 2009:

Anne-Well, at least we both agree on Cat and Frank would ok :) I guess Cat and Pedro would be ok , maybe. But I still think that Cat and Frank would be perfect. I CAN'T wait to find out who the lucky guy will be!!!!!

Anne wrote on 06 October 2009:

Este--I supposed Cat and Frank would be all right, but honestly, I've been with Cat and Pedro from the start and even if no one agrees with me, I'll still keep hoping! Ah well, though, I'd take Cat and Frank at a close second. They'd be cute together. But Cat and Syd doesn't seem like a good relationship. How about Cat and Billy, huh? No, no, just joking. :)
