5 reasons why I love Cat O'Nine Tails 1)They were press-ganged into the Royal Navy! (I LOVE the navy in the 18th century, and I was grinning madly when Cat deserted, how daring!) 2) Captain Barton is just - insane, yet funny. 3) Frank was a sailor! (I never saw THAT coming!) 4) Indians - (didn't see that coming, either) 5) It was THE greatest book I've ever read! Fact! Anyway, that's all! Eve

Omigoish! I just finished this book today and I go on your website and find out that there's 3 more books! That's the best thing (too bad they aren't at my library)! I was going to ask you to write new books but it turned out you did! And even though everyone I know thinks that your books are boring, I'll convince them not to judge a book by its cover soon enough! <3 your books! -Maggie

Covers are nothing to do with the author. Thanks for your support.

I don't understand how Frank was able to get Syd and Pedro off the Courageous as well. I know how he could prove himself but....

Don't underestimate the power of an earl!

Hi Cat, I have just picked up this new book and I got it from my school library I was just wondering is there going to be more books in the series and if so what would they be called?? Also I was just letting you know that when the library teacher was explaining this new book all the girls went mad and everyone was fighting over them so to you that probably means that you have a really good book reading reputation!!! Thx

You can see them listed in the section for my books - I've written 6 and one short story.

You know, I think this book has the beginnings of a love story between Cat and a certain someone....and I seriously think that that would be a great thing.

Hey Cat, I've just gotten into your stories and I am amazed at what you get up to. I am thinking of entering a career in theatre myself when I'm older, and I was wondering if you'd learnt any tips from the actors about how to get into that sort of thing. I also wanted to congratuate you on all of your epic comebacks to all the baddies, especially in the gentleman's club in the beginning of Cat among the Pigeons. Keep having an amazing, adventurous life and please reply, Twigletpig xxx

Dear Twigletpig My first piece of advice would be to choose yourself a stage name - I'm afraid yours might not allow you to be taken seriously if you wish to try out for Lady Macbeth. Cat

I just finished reading this book after recieving it for Christmas and I want to congragulate you on your ingenious idea to throw in the indians in the book. It was a satisfying twist and I can just imagine Cat dressed like an indian charging into that grand hall on a horse. How shocked the fancy society people were! *chuckles* that was wonderful! Great idea!

I enjoyed writing that bit too.

Wow I heart your books. My friend lent me them and I keep asking for more. What is your favourite one of the books?

So hard to say - I think I have favourite episodes in them rather than books. Do you have a favourite?

Gem wrote on 18 October 2011:

hi, i was wondering if Billy is in this book? Sometimes he's the best part of the books!

He usually crops up even if not in a starring role...

violet wrote on 11 October 2011:

Totally love Cat Royal. Her name is good for thousands of different nick names. I love her bold and brassy attitude and the insults she spits out are so funny im usually in tears. Billy is totally a great villian for the books. I enjoy seeing her get into trouble with him. Despite being a jerk and evil he is somehow a likewble character. Will the entire series make it to America? Ive read other books by you and have marked you in my top 5 favorite authors. Keep writing PLEASE

HI Not sure - that depends on Roaring Brook.

Charlotte wrote on 01 October 2011:

Hi Cat, who would you rather marry:Billy or Frank? And are you right or left handed? P.S.Cats Cradle is my favourite book!

I am right handed. I would prefer not to marry right now but who in their right mind would attach themselves to Billy? Cat
