I have just read DragonFly and it made me cry. I loved the twisted love story! You really feel for the character Tashi. I will be reading more of your books in the future. One of the best books i have ever read!

Have you heard of the poem; "Some books should be devoured, Others to be tasted, But only a few Should be chewed and digested thoroughly." Bit ewww, but I think Dragonfly would be the last one. I couldn't put it down AT ALL, I loved it that much. My mum had to snatch it off me, no jokes. Ever thought of selling the film rights?

Hi, i've read every single one of your books (except the ship between the worlds) and i loved all of them! I was wondering if Ramil and Tashi are going to be in Swallow or if its going to be like Goose Girl and Enna Burning (books) and they are only in a tiny bit? U r one of my fav. authors!!!!!!!!!!!!! (More like the latter. J)

hi, when i recently started to read Dragonfly i got very into it, as my aunt gave it to me, i started to watch the DVD of Tess of the D'urbervilles then i slowly aproached the end of both items, OK the ending of Dragonly sucks, but for crying out loud not as bad as Tess of the D'urbevilles, hey. many thanks, looking forward to Swallow, Alice (Not very polite, Alice. Can you tell me what you don't like about both? Mind you, I'm rather impressed to be put in the same paragraph as Tess! Julia)

I LOVE this book! I mean I'm a real fan of the Companions Quartet and own all of them. I just love your books so much and it inspires me to write myself. You are my number one role model. People out there who haven’t read your books don’t know what they are missing. -Nicole x

Jazmine wrote on 02 March 2009:

See what I mean Julia?? Hanifa thinks it dirty!! But I shall (HOPEFULLY) still raed it when it comes out. See I live in the U.S. I'd also like if more of you books came out here (No I really don't. The dirty comment is more than a little ridiculous, Jazmine - see my response. It is aimed at the 11+ market who should be totally unshocked by anything inside. J)
