I adored the book 'Dragon Fly' It really came across as just a romantic book but it had action and everything, I was GRIPPED. In the next book, I hope it will have the same effect, and have action and love, everything. Is it as long? Hopefully. (About the same length I think. J)

the first couple of pages were a bit boring but the story rapidly became more gripping from there. I liked this book a lot!

I loved Dragonfly!!! I also read all but the last Cat Royal series. I was wondering, did you make all the 'giants' in your books nice on purpose? Like how you made Syd super duper awesome and you made Gordoc a good guy? (Not knowingly, but I might have a soft spot that way. Though the big Viking in Wolf Cry isn't so nice. Julia)

Are the Blue Crescent Islands based on Japan and China? The islands are in a crescent shape, a bit like japan and the islanders like folding paper which is like origami Just a thought! (Japan is definitely part of the mix but for shape I was also thinking New Zealand and culture/architecture elements of Cambodia crept in. J)

Hi Julia, you are an amazing auther, i have read dragonfly and i cant wait untill i get my hands on the new one by you. Most of you books are amazing too. i have read some of the cat royal ones to. As a crazy idea i thought of trying to write a play script of dragonfly just to have a go. i am doing ok so far but it is taking a while. Do you think it is a good idea to try this? tell me if you think so. (HI, if you are doing this for fun, why not? There's a different system of rights etc for professional adaptation but fans having a go is to be encouraged! Julia)
